I always look forward to this time of year - the announcement of the Man Booker Prize longlist! Hailed as "The Man Booker dozen 2013", the prize website announces that these titles "comprise an eclectic list of 13 novels that will surprise and intrigue in equal measure". The Telegraph says "this longlist is an incitement to read...[it] is dominated by epic tales that criss-cross the globe."
